Hi! I'm here because my husband and I have been having problems again.. it's always off and on.. and we hadn't in awhile.. but it started up again. He left for 5 days with me not having a clue where he was (so far) I know when he's at work.. that's it. And he's taking out all sorts of money that we need in there. Well, I've had just about enough and even made an appointment today at 3.. but a lady from church asked me to wait and come and talk with her... and her husband was gonna call mine at work. (Let's pray he can get through to him)

I worry so much, because i'm only 24.. and it's scary to think of being divorced at such a young age. Has anyone else been through this? Divorcing at a young age? I don't know how i'll ever get through it if we have to.. regardless of age. I'm scared to death.

Hello my dear friend.

I hope you don't think I am about to pat you on the head and say, 'there, there, it happened to me too'... I was 24 when my first marriage broke up, that was due to his adultery. I thought it was the end of the world for me.

I went down a very bad path after that...drugs, booze and promiscuity. I regret all of it, but by the grace of God, I now work in the field of drug and alcohol recovery, and I am a happy, balanced (well, sort of) human being.

I really, really hope and pray with all my heart that you and your husband can work things out, with the right help, if necessary. I pray for a change of heart for him, you cannot do all the work in a marriage yourself, that's for sure.

And - most importantly - keep close to God, and He will keep close to you. You have one huge advantage that I didn't have when I went through it...a relationship with God, who loves you. I'm sure, in fact I know...that He wants you to be happy.

well, my husband still isn't home.. but he promised last night that he'd come over after work tonight at 9 pm. Please pray that he keeps this promise.. and we are able to have a good talk and settle things to where he is ready and willing to come home and stay home.

i was divorced at 21 and yes, it IS scary...but God pulled me through it and if that is what happens for you, he will pull you through as well. Feel free to PM me if you just want to chat...in the meantime, I am praying for you!

thanks... let's just ake it one step at a time.. I'm praying that he is ready to come home soon. I'm showing strength.. leaning on Jesus... and trying to show my husband that I am ok without him. I feel like he needs to see that I am strong.. and I'm not gonna act like my life is over because of him.
