Looks like someone wants the FCC to start helping you watch your children on your computer.

Though I wonder. What does the FCC have to do with the internet ???

(b) Content of Proceeding- In conducting the proceeding required under subsection (a), the Federal Communications Commission shall consider advanced blocking technologies that--

(1) may be appropriate across a wide variety of distribution platforms, including wired, wireless, and Internet platforms;

But it must be ok, it's for the Children.
It looks more & more like the Goverment(c) wants to replace the Parent.

True, but it'd be better if we never have to deal with the measure in the first place. Just like Trusted [Trustless] Computing and DRM.

It will never be able to pass. As stated above, the FCC has no jurisdiction on the internet. It would start a national internet campaign to block it.

As far as I am concerned, the FCC can foadiacf. Christian Forums also exercises excess censorship.
