  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Last night I finished Red by Mr. Ted Dekker. Absolutely AMAZING book. Wow. Really thoroughly enjoyed it. It was fantastic.

This afternoon I finished Life Everlasting by Robert Whitlow (No I do not have super amounts of time on my hand...I was almost done it but got my hands on Red and had to read that first :D )...the story was ok, but the ending was pathetic. Whoever called this guy the John Grisham of Christian legal fiction was TOTALLY mistaken.

I'm in the process of rereading Lord of the Rings (and The Hobbit). I think they do get better every time I read them. At the moment I'm a little over halfway through Two Towers.

My all time favorites!!!!!!! Right now I am rereading Thomas Wolfe's Look Homeward Angel. Great stuff!

Right now I'm reading God's Equation, about one of Einstin's theories and the ever faster expanding universe. It's overdue from the library though, so I need to finish it fast. Next I think I'll be reading An Imaginary Tale: The Story of [the square root of negative one]. I like reading math related books because you don't have to actually do the hard work, but you still get the thrill of discovering the amaizing order behind creation. Several years ago I read two books on the number zero that were just awesome.
