I am sure you have been asked this before, but what are the differences between the Reformed Church in America and the Christian Reformed Church? I have been told the split was in the 19th century over freemasonry, is that what happened?

Interesting articles, though I know you always have to take Wikipedia with a grain of salt. I'd really be curious to know more about the Freemason issue and who took what side.

The RCA's 2006 General Synod voted to allow the exchange of ministers with the Christian Reformed Church in North America.

It would appear they have fraternal relations.

As far as I know, the CRCNA didn't return the favor regarding such "altar and pulpit fellowship". Does anyone know if that's true. The CRC is still somewhat more conservative than the RCA. Many consider it to be a "borderline" denomination whereas the RCA is definitely "mainline".
