Raven, an enormous yet slender man (as it were), sports a slender face to match with no facial hair. Although not particularly handsome, he is notably without physical flaws or blemishes. His hair, jet black with hints of brown under bright sunlight, heavily flows in a ponytail down a little past his shoulders. His eyes, if somehow one could attract the giant's gaze (his habit is to not look at people to whom he is talking, unless his attention is fully drawn), are hazel.
The very first aspects of his appearance one notices about him are his enormous stature and the gigantic sword strapped to his back (as well as another one-handed sword at his side) (the guy pictured with the sword is also how Raven carries himself)
Personality- Raven's temper is quick and refined: refined in that Raven's ability to harness his emotions (most notably anger) to drive him forward rather than hinder him is unparalleled. Although a supreme swordsman and commander, he's not the quickest in other matters. He likes to laugh, though it doesn't appear so by first impression of his naturally overwhelming exterior and the regularly emotionless expression he dons. He's not that great of a joker himself, though he attempts it, at times. Observers find surprises in little things that he does you wouldn't imagine of such a (albeit scary) giant.
Normally he speaks few words, not that they are the most weighty of thoughts.
Bio-
Raven Galstrom's background lies in mystery. Although he and Sel Armorich are childhood friends, their parents were not close, nor were Raven's parents native to the villiage of Edgarton (a village, incidentally, two days journey by horseback from Eisen Palace, the closest village to the palace) in which the two grew up together.
Raven joined the King's army at an early age (along with the even younger but promising Sel) and worked his way quickly through the ranks. While Sel eventually shied away from actual military, Raven earned the rank of commander/trainer of the King's army. He received much recognition for numerous feats in and out of battle (particularly against the forces of Catapheria and even an informal duel with the commander of the Catapherian forces) but resigned from his position some time during the Final War to be a plain knight in his own right. The reason is a mystery and the source of many rumors among the army members. Some say he left disgusted at the new muskets being used in training, others that the new, woman commander shamed him in a duel, and others simply that he felt like it...
The only thing known for sure by his former legionaires is that something has changed about their former commander...
He lives fairly closely with his friend, Sel, in Edgarton.
