Just curious, Angylbelle, since you seem so hard on movies, what is your favorite movie? Or the best made movie, or however you view the question.

Haha, I'm sorry...
I explained once that my beau is the manager of a movie theatre so I see EVERYTHING before it comes out to the public...and well, when you are force fed alot, you tend to become less openminded when it comes to quality films. I'll try to be nicer... ;)

It would be impossible for me to state ONE favorite movie...and to be honest, it completely depends on my mood! I like classics and 80's films the most, although I'd be hard pressed to give any film a 10. The best made film however I would have to say is...either Citizen Kane or The Godfather...yet, get me into a conversation about directors and that's a whole different ball game! That's right...I'm a movie dork

I guess in general I just like movies and only find myself truly disliking less than I do more. If I had to watch every single thing that came out, I would probably be as strict as you too. I agree with you on Citizen Kane, but what directors do you like? I've always prefered romantics but like Gilliam and Burton, but it seems the realist are becoming more popular nowadays. These aren't real Hollywood terms, actually their literary, but they drive the point.

6/10 (Spielburg, Scorsese, Welles, and Coppolla come to mind first. I do admire many works by Hitchcock, Tarantino, de Palma, Burton, Polanski, Scott, Cukor, and the often overlooked, Disney. Lumet, Stone, Turtletaub, Newell, and Lucas deserve props too ;))
