Rare hobbies

ANy body here have some Rare hobbies. Like some that are hard to find resources for?

I make wine, but I don't know if that is rare or not.

I am learning to make wine too. More ike a homesteading type thing and not quite so serious as some of the winemaking boards around the web.

What type of mead are you making?

I have some off the wall wine fermenting on top of my refrigerator. Jalapeño, cranberry, lime, root beer (flavored), and one that is mixed cranberry & raspberry.
Plus I have been eyeing some popular soda pop flavors and thinking about making wine out of them as well.

I have also been trying to learn how to make cheese, but so far I am not to good at it. Here we can't get raw milk, so I have had to make a few adaptations that so far are not working out to well.

Well at the moment I have a mango and guava, a date, honey and apple, and an orange and cinnamon mead aging.

I also make cheese, and I think that I gave you a forum name before. What trouble are you having with your cheese? Adding cal to regular milk can help with setting issues. Also adding some cream to the milk can help.

My main hobby is computer programming, I guess it's pretty rare I only know one person that does it also.

It takes brainpower, much of which is already drained from school and work.
