• The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.

If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.

If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Is God going to leave me behind because I accidently confused the Holy Spirit and Satan in a dream/hallucination I bowed to the yellow light thinking it was Jesus.

Is Jesus mad at me for accidently confusing him with Satan did he destroy my mansion in Heaven for a mentally ill accident.

Is Jesus hurt that I confused him with Satan would he really blot my name from the Lambs book of Life for an accident.

I didnt mean to bow before Satan it was my mental illness and my family, friends, and church say confusing Holy Spirit and Satan in hallucination isnt blasphemy.

Is Jesus angry with me that I fell to a supernatural temptation is he mad at me that I accidently bowed to Satan is he okay with me.

Does Jesus still love me despite my mental illness. Does he love me despite accidently confusing him with Satan. Does Jesus love me still.

First off, there is no "rapture" within the meaning of the protestant use of the term.

There may or may not be a "rapture" of the Church when Jesus returns.

So there might not be a rapture.

Just keep loving God. That's all that matters right now. Tell Him all your fears too and He will silence your storm. Rapture or no rapture, mark of the beast or not, The Lord will never forsake you..

Yes, Jesus loves you.

Jesus doesn't judge us by our mental confusion or the inability of our brain to discern one thing from another, or to understand something that is beyond our mental capability. The heart knows love before the brain can tell us how to express that love in words.

Jesus judges us by what is in our heart, knowing that there are times in our lives when we can't express that love that we feel, or that we haven't yet learned the right words and sounds to say what we feel.

During our lifetimes, from birth to death and in between, we all have times when what is obvious to one person will not be understood by another.
Just as a mother will usually understand her baby's gibberish, a grandmother with less daily contact with the infant might not be able to understand.

Or that with an older adult, what we used to know and be able to express in words or recognize by sight or by memory, we can't recognize that same thing now because our brain that we used to use to recognize these things is now incapable of distinguishing one thing from another.

While our brain has to learn things, and then may forget, is a part of life.
What doesn't deteriorate is what we feel in our heart. And Jesus knows that.

So yes, Jesus knows that we love Him, because He can always discern what is in our heart.
He knows if we are confused, and why, and He also knows what we feel and what our heart wants to tell Him.
