Guess it really depends on if you like it or not. I tend to view it as a musical attempt by an angry, non-musical person.

I would say it is music because the definition of music is "vocal or instrumental sounds (or both) combined in such a way as to produce beauty of form, harmony, and expression of emotion." now whether it is good for you or not is a different thing. There is so much hate in rap music generally it astonishes me. However there are christian rapper like Lecrae and Trip Lee who put out good music with a good message. Even Eminem has some good songs (clean cuts only) such as Mockingbird which is about him loving his daughters.
