Ranma 1/2

Ranma 1/2 is a pretty old anime but is still one of my favourites. I've only watched up to season 3.

After going through my old anime and watching the whole series again...I've been searching for the other seasons..but all i can find is a torrent file of all the seasons and movies which is 31.54gb or something . So I'm currently trying to download it... or I could always buy the dvd set..but can't find it here in australia

Anyone else here a fan of Ranma?

YES O.M.GOSH!! LoL noone I've talked to really likes it. Ranma was one of the first manga I bought! I think the first first one was Inuyasha, but ranma was the first one I picked out on my own because a friend recomended it. I've seen up to season two, I love watching it, I'd buy the dvd's if they wern't so expensive.

I have box sets 1, 2, and 6, movie 2, I've seen the OVA and one episode from season 3, and I have the first 5 volumes of the manga. I want to get the rest of it, though.

I got the anime from a friend..I think he downloaded it but he stopped because he couldn't find the rest lolz.. this was like 4 years ago.

I've only seen the english dubbed seasons...but I heard the jap dub is much better.

It falls under the stipulation in 4.1c about posting illegal information. Posting any links that allow downloading anime without purchasing it (fansub or DVD rip, it doesn't matter) violate copyright law, even if it doesn't necessarily violate it on ethical terms. The way I understand it, the only loophole is to PM those kinds of things, but I'd say that's even treading on thin ice, which is why the two times I've linked to downloadable media in PMs, it's been of an obscure nature and very (like nearly 100%) unlikely to be able to find otherwise.

While Ranma may be rare in some places, it still is in active production and easy to find on places like Amazon, as opposed to something like English-language Sailor Moon manga or the lapsed English dubs of said series, which had all of it's licensing in America revoked or reneged upon.

i never seen the show but have you guys/gals ever read the books? i just finished book 4 and i am NEVER reading ramna 1/2 again. some guy and girl ranma were fighting and ranma manages to get all 'her' clothes ripped off in front of a crowd of highschool boys. it was disgusting. the whole thing started as a martial arts fight and it ended up being a strip show. and this 'naked girls' trend has been happening in the inu yasha books too. can't rumiko takahashi draw someone with their shirt ON for more then two panels?

well, you do happen to have a Inuyasha avatar so it's obviously not hurting your fandom for the show.
It was not a "strip show" as you put it, yes there is some nudity, but your insinuation that rumiko takahashi can't draw people clothed is completly wrong. There are few scenes of nudity in her mangas and when there are they are not just for the sake of nudity. There is usually a point, and in ranma all of those scenes are meant as comedy and to make a point about gender roles in japan. If nudity is a big problem for you, you might want to look at the more "kiddy" anime and manga.

I only read the Ranma manga(I enjoyed it), I'm not really huge on anime, I do like probley 2 of them which is love hina and sailor moon, the rest I don't really watch. I don't watch much tv period, I'm more into reading.

I only read like 3 manga of it. I was too busy reading Harry Potter most of the time(I'm a huge fan, and just love that book) I have a one track mind so I can read one thing at a time, even short stuff.
