You're not kidding. I once ran into a rain storm on the freeway between Houston and San Antonio, going about 70-80 in rush hour traffic. That pretty much sums it up, except you can't see anything beyond three feet ahead of you.

That's why I laugh when I hear someone say something like "Someone is over compensating" when they see a HUGE truck.

All I can say is "Have you never been here after/during a storm?"

If I had the money I would have a massive truck too and the only thing it would be compensating for is the higher level of water.

Sure, it may only get 5 miles per gallon....... but beats being flooded out and stranded. I love my Acura/Honda but a submarine it isnt.... being as low as it is.... someone spits on the street I run the risk of flooding it.
