Lol, that actually happened to me except I didn't have it on that long. Faulty sparky microwave. (I didn't watch it cause it had been doing it for a long time and nothing ever happened)

I was laying on the couch and said..... hmmm thats a new smell to popcorn (burning plastic)

Then I opened up the microwave and it was like a small backdraft. I ducked and said WOOAH THATS NEW!!

Then of course came time to scramble to figure out how to keep it from burning down the apartment. (it was the apt.s microwave too. )

I was just glad the sink wasn't very far away.

Several ways:

1) Be Jesus
2) Have a boat
3) be Tarzan and swing in
4) climb the tree and slide down and climb in.
5) Pull it to land by rope and ease yourself out by letting the rope loose slowly.
6) Carefully.
