CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The mental hospital/insane asylum. I hated it. I never wanted to go back. God promised me I wouldn't. God has a sense of humour, however.
Years later..
A friend. He had a girlfriend who was admitted that he wanted to visit. Reluctantly, I agreed to take him to see her. ------> John 14:26 But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. <-----
To make long stories short..I went back, but not under the same circumstances I had previously not wanted to go. ]
Hey I even got to see the "Ms. Hiller" and her family while I was there. But that's for another day.

It's amazing how that relates to my story. I remember psych techs watching over me when I was hospitalized. Little did I know, years later I would become a psych tech. You're right. The counseled become counselors. Comforted become comforters.

This is one of many typical pictures for Noah's Ark story. What's one thing that's missing in this image and most other art depicting this story? That's right. It's the thousands of people drowning in the flood. I'm not being cynical here, but can someone please add this to your creative exploits when telling the visible story? It is a kind of important part, ya know.
