^Ah, black bears! I see those every year here, and we even found a bear den last summer! Also, the other year a baby bear was crying up in a tree for his mother one night right in our back yard! It sounded cute!

Yeah, ha ha

Black bears can be aggressive, especially if they have little ones. I see baby black bears every year and they are really cute! I have seen momma bears with 3 cubs before! But yeah, I have heard if they are tamed then they aren't that aggressive anymore.

I remember a video on YouTube, some dude with a grizzly pet. Awesome stuff. He named the bear Brutus. It is really big; the bear is.
And fuzzy too but I'd still be scared of it, despite knowing it's probably not going to nom me.

Now with a better video. Because that's important.

Pretty good story about the three original parents (Sun, Moon, and Earth) who produced offspring that were basically doubles with two faces looking in opposite directions and two sets of arms/legs/genitalia. How they were formed was determined by their parent; the sun produced man, earth woman, moon the androgynous. Powerful and foolish they set about bothering the Gods - instead of thunder bolting the heck out of them, as done with the giants, they opted to split them in half. Each sewed up with a bellybutton to remind them they were incomplete, then scattered about the world desperately trying to reconnect with their lost halves. Lots of other stuff happened, yadda yadda yadda, so a story was created regarding the origin of soul mates and how the soul mate was decided by whether you were born of the Sun, Moon or Earth.

It's a fascinating tale.
