CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

[NOTE: this story is not true just one that I made up a little bit of random humor, I guess...]
One muggy evening at Christmas time a man had a mosquito problem in his back yard. He tried everything to get rid of the mosquito's nothing worked. So, he saw an add in the local paper about hiring tree frogs to eat any mosquito problem one is having. So this man hired a tree frog.
The tree frog took care of the mans problem. The man was over joyed as he and his family finally went outside to put the the Christmas lights.
One day the man gets a visit from the tree frog asking him to pay for his services for getting riid of the mosquito problem in his back yard. The man was preplexed at such a request. The tree frog said that the man had 48 hours to come up with a dozen of roaches to pay for his services or he will have to take action. The man and his wife knew that they could not come up with such steep request.
When the 48 hours was up the frog returned back to the man asking for the dozen of roaches for his services of getting rid of the mosquitoes. The man said that he did not have any and for him to contact his lawyer. The tree frog shook his head and said "Man, I told you that I would have to take action".
