Hey, I've been a member here on CF for a long time, (and a poem/song/story writer for much much longer! lol) and I've never posted on this board! 
Anywho. Here's a few random bits of some of my stuff. Read it if you'd like, and let me know what you think. Thanks much!
If I had my way
This would be different
This all would be reversed
You would look at me
The way I see you now
And you'd be the one waiting
Waiting suits you so much better anyway...
Another day without you
Is another day I think about you less
I don't want to forget you
But remembering just causes stress
Your eyes, your smile
Are all but gone in mists of memory
I hope I cross your mind
and always regret leaving me
What happened to the man I knew that could do anything?
What happened to the boy with all the dreams?
Gone are the days of dancing without reason
You're no longer the person you seemed
You used to be so strong
You used to tell me all this would be ok one day
I played the fool for so long
And admittedly, I played it well
I'd give all the nothing I have left
For another day of everything we had
To walk amoung the blades of green
Pretending we could not be seen
All our imperfections lost to the breeze
And love full of life and bliss I'd never known before
Your eyes unwavering
As they stole my heartbeats one by one
My heart could have stopped
And I would have never known
This is the moment I choose to no longer dwell
On someone who never really loved me anyway.
This is the moment I close that chapter.
Because if I don't bring this to an end,
Its going to kill me.
It'll suck the life from my soul
Until there's nothing left of me.
I do not love you anymore.
I will not love you anymore.
I will meet someone new.
I will move on.
And I will be happy.
You no longer matter to me.
