  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Chocolate Sinkholes, by Jeremy Jackson (from his book Desserts That Have Killed Better Men Than Me)

Preheat your oven to 325 F
melt 8 TBS (1 stick) unsalted butter and 6 oz. bittersweet chocolate in a double boiler, remove from heat, set aside to cool to room temp.
Sift together 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 cup flour, 3/4 tsp. baking powder, & 1/8 tsp. salt; set aside.
Beat 4 eggs, & 1 tsp. vanilla in med. bowl until frothy. Stir in choclate mixture until incorporated. Then slowly stir in the dry stuff just until everything is combined.
Divide the batter among six-6 oz. ramekins or eight-5 oz. ramekins; arrange cups in a roasting pan or baking dish, fill pan with enough cool tap water to come 1/3 the way up the outsides of the cups; bake 34-38 min. until tops are firm; bottom layer will still be soft and batter-like. Open a little hole in the top and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or some whipped cream.

I saw a UFO once too. Tiniest little silver sphere hanging in the sky, way up; no, not a weather balloon. No lights, no greys, no abductions, just a little silver ball.
Man I'm jelous, i've never seen one of those guys, I want to see the green kind with the big eyes. You'de think they would hang out around here, since I live close to roswell, but they don't.
