One of the rare verses i've managed to memorize hahaaaa......it's a very precious one....it's like our precious God, verifying that it is He, through His Holy Spirit, Who "teaches" us ALL things, and illuminate His Word to us as we delve into it:

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not." ~Jeremiah 33:3

He IS Good!!!!

"For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly." ~Psalm 84:11

Yes. Lamentations 3 shine light on Gods grace. It showed me that no matter how far i went away from him, that Gods mercy was still available for me, and that i could have His strength to help me keep going, back towards him, and to hope in Him. The psalms are very insightful as well.

This psalm may sound a bit dark, but it has been a light for my feet when i felt this way. If David was depressed like this, and still found Gods help, then so could i.

And what is the measure of my days,
That I may know how frail I am.
5 Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths,
And my age is as nothing before You;
Certainly every man at his best state is but vapor. Selah

And does not know who will gather them.

My hope is in You.
8 Deliver me from all my transgressions;
Do not make me the reproach of the foolish.

Dark, maybe, but there is purpose in it all......God is GOOD. He spoke through our predecessors in their despair and tunnels of darkness, and through their own experience and testimonies, God's Hope and promises shine through.

Dark, maybe, but there is purpose in it all......God is GOOD. He spoke through our predecessors in their despair and tunnels of darkness, and through their own experience and testimonies, God's Hope and promises shine through.

Maybe im wrong about that, but i do remember her sister (in the movie) laboring in that concentration camp, and she prayed the words "God, teach me how to live in this place", and those words stuck with me ever since. I have prayed those words myself since hearing them, because they seemed to say exactly what i felt concerning my own personal struggles in life.

Precious promises from a heavenly Father Who loves us and delights in us, and DELIGHTS when we ask Him for what we need and tell Him all that is in our hearts....He LOVES to give us GOOD things.... He is GOOD!!!
