God chooses some over others not because of random chance, but because of reasons we cannot understand with our human capacity.
God still wants all to repent and be saved. *dodges tomatoes*
I agree to an extent, (that we cannot understand completely with our finite brains) but here's some actual reasons the Bible gives for God's choice of us.
Eph 1:5 he predestined us for adoption as sons through Jesus Christ, according to the purpose of his will,
Eph 1:6
to the praise of his glorious grace
Rom 9:22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction,
Rom 9:23
in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory--
1Co 1:26-31
(26)
For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
(27) But
God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise;
God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;
(28)
God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,
(29) s
o that no human being might boast in the presence of God.
(30) And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption,
(31) so that, as it is written, "Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord."
