Why did they remove the pro-life ribbon before?

oh you missed the fiasco yesterday i take it? well someone requested a pro choice ribbon for the armory and got turned down. Then a couple people complained and said it wasnt fair. So the staff's answer to that was to take the pro life ribbon out of the armory and stop selling it! There was a major uprisal going on yesterday. Everyone was changing their custom titles and sigs to include pro life statements and ribbons. We had a petition going. People were pming erwin..and all kinds of threads were going on. Finally last night erwin came back and said he didnt know the ribbon was taken out and he would put it back for now and would find out from the staff what was going on! it was pretty crazy!

i have a feeling after more discussion with staff that they will end up caving in and allowing the pro choice ribbon. I doubt they will get rid of the pro life ribbon again after the uprisal yesterday though!

My internet connection didn't work yesterday, so I missed everything... I think there should be both ribbons, that would be fair.

personally i dont think everything has to be FAIR all the time. This is a Christian site and not every symbol is really conducive to Christianity. there is an anti war ribbon..but if someone requests a MAKE WAR ribbon..do they have to put it in to be fair? there is a bible , but if someone requests the Satanic bible or scriptures from another religion like the Bhagvad Gita, do they have to put it in to be fair. I know alot of people have been saying that it should be put in to be FAIR..but i just dont agree. This is just my personal opinion. The staff will decide what to do. I definitely dont think taking a pro life symbol OFF of a christian site is a wise move, as i am sure they noticed yesterday!
