CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I had a weird dream last night. I was trying to go somewhere, so I hopped in my car, only to find out later that my "car" was made of plastic and about the size of one a kid would scoot around on! It's so weird how the mind puts together odd bits of your life in a dream, isn't it? Earlier in the day I had been (a) looking for a parking spot and only found a tiny one; (b) thinking about children.

Funny that you mention weird dreams. Last night I dreamed that I was the corner guy for a boxing frog. He was the size of a person, kind of cartoony and wore some kind of suspenders with his shorts and blamed them for getting pummeled and losing. I woke up and wondered if I had really just dreamed that.

Happy weekend to all! 
Supposedly, people remember their dreams if they wake up during them, or reach a light-enough level of sleep. I remember my dreams every morning when I wake up. Last night I dreamt I was at a party, and there were fun things to do, but I was afraid to participate in them. Hm... wonder what THAT was all about!

Oh why oh why can't we Christians get on one accord?? Why can't we stop compromising with sin so much???? Things that even a child can understand is not cool to do as Christians we adults are all in to it!! Why oh why can't we see how it affect other people in the world and even other Christians????

what's exhausting for me? Not liking people (that is, difficult people in my life). And not knowing how to get to a place where I'm okay with their actions.
But I just went to a retreat this weekend, and it was a good way to get refreshed!
