I've had that kind and I like them better than the puffy ones. You can't discourage me, toots. Have a BLESSED day!

Chicken and dumplings is something I tried to make ONCE. The kids had problems with eating it. Never had it before. My son almost threw up. I can not mention chicken and dumplings again. They know what the like and dislike, and I guess kids are not so fond of trying something new. I ate them though. They were not bad, - just unfamiliar food.

My mom was from down south and she made THE BEST chicken and dumplings. That's Bethani's favorite comfort food. Anyway, I never had morning sickness when I was pregnant with my kids until I was pregnant with the last one and I made c&d. I took one look at it and couldn't eat it again for years. That's my c&d story. The end.

I don't care for puffy dumplings, either. I have used flour tortillas when making them, and they work really well!! I haven't made a pot in a long time, though.

MORNIN'! all!! CM4 good to see you pop in! Been wonderin' about ya! How is everyone? Talking of winds,...good grief! I expected to wake up in Oz!! We are to get 60 mph winds today! YIKES.....and it is COLD! What is up with that?? (((HUGS))) to everyone!

Maybe I should give it another try some time and make chicken and dumplings again, just for my hubby and I, as the kids won't ever try it again. I guess I should try another recipe then.
