Good morning, girls! It is a bit cold out here too, but nice and warm inside with a fire going in the wood stove and Starbucks coffee in my coffee cup.

It is nice. Every season has its charm, I think, even if I am not overly fond of the cold and snow. To burn wood in the stove and candles on the tables is the positive about this season. The roads were so slippery today. Not fun at all being out there driving. Just ran the necessary errands and went back home again. The cat is enjoying life inside now, as she is lying on a woolen blanket on the couch. The trips she takes outside do not last long, as she wants to go inside again where it is nice and warm, lol. She is a cat with character.

Sounds cozy for the cat too. My dog, a Norwegian Elkhound, loves the winter. If we have snow she loves playing in it.

Dogs love to play in the snow. They are more playful and more social than cats. Cats have that killer instinct that sets in when they see a little something to play with, like our cat. Cats think they own their owners. Our cat loves me and loves to rub her head towards my face and she licks my hands as her way of showing me affection (ewww... that is a big yuck and I can't wait to wash my hands when she does that), and she likes to curl up on my lap and sleep there. She was spayed when she was 8 months old, and she has never had kittens.

I love that kind of dog! My lab loved the snow! She made a mess of the yard, but man, she was like a little kid out there. Hi sweet ones!

I have to work at noon. Right now I'm washing clothes and doing my house-ly duties! It's cold and cloudy here. How about you?

A bit cloudy here right now. Supposed to clear up this afternoon. I drove home yesterday with the top down on the car...it was 75 when I left work

Spent the evening at Barnes and Noble last night. Woohoo!!

Oh sure, whatever!!! 75 --- won't see that for a while...

I love Barnes and Noble. I could stay there all day. Starbucks is in the one I go to in a place about an hour from here. Coffee and books! Do you work tonight or are you going to church?

HI Dawn and Deb! It is sunny and 36 now here. I am doing house work and laundry as well today. Seems like it never ends
