CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm not doing much right now. And nothing is new under the sun in my world. I'm not up to any mischief either.
The chicken and dumplings were good even if I say so myself. Good thing you all didn't show up, not many leftovers. Oh, I tried something new too. I got a big back of cut up fresh kale, had some bacon drippings and I wilted them down with the bacon drippings and some olive oil. After they were done I served them with balsamic vinegar
they were good. Only me, Mom and Stacie ate them though...the rest didn't like greens. What is wrong with those people??!!

Not really. My daughter's father said that was where his mom was from - CRACKEN or something by the sea. Since I don't pay close attention to what he says, I just thought that was what he said....heee. Do you understand my Minnesota logic?

Hiya everyone.
you and me both. There I was surfing and posting happily and suddenly blah blah error, connection refused. Error in line yaddah yaddah somehing about memory and something.php blah blah. Had me thinking that for a moment I had been banned from the site for some reason unknown to me. *phew* that wasn't the case.
