Mornin' all! Coffee sounds so good. Another day of VBS. I must say, I lost my cool a couple times yesterday with some kids. Amazing how they are being brought up. One boy was making sexually implicit moves...showing off. I nabbed that one. MAN...makes one wonder what goes on in that household. SO sad. But, over all it is fun...and some of the kids are really getting the message. SO that is cool.

Once Ej or Erin-Joy now Judilyn or Lynn .
We had to put our Ferret Jake down today. He was dying of adrenal gland cancer. Jake had been with us for 9 years. We are not sure how old is was for certain because he was full grown when we got him. One thing we know for sure is that he was an elderly little guy. The max age for ferrets is 6 or 7. He had no energy anymore yet he would eat and drink all the time. We had lost so much weight, nothing but skin and bones. When we would take him out he would play for a few seconds and then just lay down. Last night he began gasping for breath & we feared the worst. Just over an hour ago our vet confirmed our worst fears. I held him in my arms while he went off to Ferret Heaven. He was a beloved pet and we will miss him.

I am so sorry, Erin-Joy. It must be sad to see him so sick and to have to put him to sleep. I bet he will be very missed. Big hugs to you, sis.

Pretty good! How about with you? My daughter got the cutest puppy last night. She brought her into work for me to see this morning. It's the tiniest dog I've ever seen. If that puppy can survive the kids, it will be a miracle!!
