It was fun and a blessing.
Now I have to prepare lesson plans for my next CNA class.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi, everybody. Just popping in to let you know I'm still alive. I survived 5 weeks in Las Vegas and made it home in one piece.
I had a great time in LV. We didn't go out much except to go buy water because of the heat. We did go to Mt. Charleston one day though and to the Strip a couple of times and a few times to the park. My favorite place on the Strip by far was M&M´s World.
I didn't take many pictures but I will be posting some as soon as I get them downloaded on my computer. I bought a video camera while I was there and I might post some clips that I took.

The temperature right now is 16,4 C (61.5 F). It's dry right now but it rained this morning. According to weather.yahoo.com, it is currently 29 C (85 F) in Las Vegas. Of course, it's only 7 AM there so it's still cool.

hi all, I'm in the painting mode today ... or more correctly; for days ... as I'm painting our living room ... from deep green to creamy white. It takes 5 coats to cover that green colour properly! It sounds fun, eh? It's always fun to paint the 1st wall ... then after a few more coats you can't wait to have it finished. The creamy white looks pretty though. Have a blessed day all!

Good morning. I hope everyone is doing well. I started work yesterday and of course that's the day that it stops raining and the sun comes out. It got up to 25C (77F) some places in Iceland yesterday. It's expected to go up to 20C (68F) in Reykjavik today and tomorrow. That would seem pretty cool if it were in Las Vegas but it's pretty warm for Iceland.
