Two can be a lot at times.

Not when it comes to cups of coffee in the morning.^_^

Good morning, precious ones!!

On the job subject - I have enough to do here at home with ONE job. It seems like I never catch up!

Hubby, at one time when things were really bad financially, worked four jobs. It really took a toll on his health and our family. He wasn't at a point of trusting the Lord for our needs. Oh well - he does now. I'm thankful for that!!

Now on to coffee!!!

Good Morning all. I'll have coffee too. And can I say something about the whole job thing.

My hubby just got a new job making twice the amount he used to. That was a huge blessing from God! However, even though I love teaching my first ministry is to my family and my heart is really in to my work at the church which is Children's Ministry Team Coordinator. That is like having another full time volunteer postion. My hubby won't let me quit working.
I think it's because he thinks that I don't do anything around here all day. (Like good fairies come here to do all the work) He made the comment that "I wish I could stay home all day". Like it's a vacation or something.

Sorry. Just had to vent.............

Yuk. I've heard that, but not too often, thank goodness. I'd beat him with a wet noodle. I can't believe how much work there is to do around here - and how fast the time goes by during the day when I'm trying to get stuff done. I totally understand, sister!

I've been praying that he will have a change of heart because it really is true that a mother sets the tone for the home.

Yes, I had done a Bible study that said the the woman is the 'keeper at the gate' of her home. That she sets the mood, sets the heart attitudes, and, because she's home, is the prayer and protector 'at the gate' when the husband isn't there. That's besides all the other stuff. I loved that, though. It validated what I did at home even more.

Erin, I had to hunt this down, just for you!!!^_^

A father came home and found his three children were outside, still in their pajamas, playing in the mud, with empty food boxes and wrappers strewn all around the front yard.

The door of his wife's car was open, as was the front door to the house and there was no sign of the dog.

Proceeding into the entry, he found an even bigger mess. A lamp had been knocked over, and the throw rug was wadded against one wall.
In the front room the TV was loudly blaring a cartoon channel, and the family room was strewn with toys and various items of clothing. In the kitchen, dishes filled the sink, breakfast food was spilled on the counter, the fridge door was open wide, dog food was spilled on the floor, a broken glass lay under the table, and a small pile of sand was spread by the back door.

He quickly headed up the stairs, stepping over toys and more piles of clothes, looking for his wife. He was worried she may be ill, or that something serious had happened.

He was met with a small trickle of water as it made its way out the bathroom door. As he peered inside he found wet towels, scummy soap and more toys strewn over the floor.

Miles of toilet paper lay in a heap and toothpaste had been smeared over the mirror and walls. As he rushed to the bedroom, he found his wife still curled up in the bed in her pajamas, reading a novel.

She looked up at him, smiled, and asked how his day went.
He looked at her bewildered and asked, "What happened here today?"

She again smiled and answered, "You know?
Every day when you come home from work and you ask me what in the world did I do today?"

"Yes," was his incredulous reply.

She answered, "Well, .........today I didn't do it."

Hi everyone! How is the holiday weekend going?

Man, I really miss ya'll....
I do try and keep in touch with my sweet MB and MMXII, but I just don't get over here to play cuz my other threads (drama...) have been swamped and I can barely keep up there.
However, I keep ya'll in prayer when someone comes to mind, and I will pop in more now when I can.
Anyone, feel free to PM me, anytime.
Have a blessed Labor Day!!
