  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My family and I went to see the premier of Pirates of the Caribbean 2. The movie started at 12:20AM. We got home about 3AM-ish :yawn: I'm sleepy. It was kinda' cool. I never went to a movie so late and this is the 2nd premier I've gone to. The first one, my son worked for a radio staion and I don't remember the movie, it was free. Last night was a bizillion dollars by the time we bought popcorn :eek:

Hi, I haven't been posting much the past couple of weeks or so. I've been having a great time here in LV visiting CM4. We saw a great fireworks show on the 4th which was really fun. It actually rained yesterday which was really good. We needed it.
