CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm a relative newlywed myself, and I just received some news to which my reaction surprises me..
I had a house when I married and moved into hubbys house. I placed my house for sale and someone has just made an offer, I countered and they accepted, now even though I am happy I find myself scared, so I see I must have a bit of a trust issue that I was previously unaware of..wow getting married in mid-life is really different..oh well the point is prayer welcome..

It just kinda cut the ties from your former life, huh? At least you are able to sell your house, the house I had when I was married, I had to let go back to the bank! ex was none too happy about that, but,. oh well!

I'm remebering the Brady Bunch episode where Cindy gets to be on TV and brags about it all week. When she finally gets to the studio she has that Deer in the Headlights look.
Well, I haven't bragged about it, but I get my 15 minutes of fame. Well, 14 minutes and hopefully only 2 will focused on my part. It will be taped today and is airing next Sunday 6am. Pator, hubby and I have an opportunity to promote our VBS program on a local talk show. If you think of it, keep me in prayer that I don't choke.
I have a face for radio and a voice for the deaf. But if one person comes to VBS and accepts Jesus Christ as Savior because of this, then God is glorified and I am happy.
