No, I worked until 1 this mornng, and it was like a madhouse! Plus we were shorthanded, becasue one of my checkers had to quit, and no one bothered to try to replace her! I had to check out customers, PLUS close the office down!! I feel like a worn out shoe!!!:eek: It's hard to count money and drop it in the safe, when there is a line of people waiting to check out!!! At 11:00 at night!!!:doh: Now, I have a headache, and have to be at work at 2!!:sigh:

Phase 2:
See each other as often as feasible ... that may amount to a few times a year.

Continue to build friendship to back up the romance.

Look for God's leading through opening doors.

Pray for His perfect timing and for our confidence in our readiness at the right time.

She's being kind folks! She may have been a little scared, but wouldn't you be if someone popped the question after only knowing you as an acquaintance for 6 months, only courting for 3 months, and only having been with you in person for a couple weeks?

I think we're on the same page as far as how long we want to wait for marriage, but at different places in regard to when we want to call it an engagement. I'm sure that Jan's the one for me ... her or nobody. So I'd be glad to be engaged to her now and for as long as it takes until we're both ready for marriage. She prefers to not call it an engagement until we are ready to start talking about a wedding date and making plans. It amounts to about the same end result.
