After a small local newspaper published a few cartoon drawings of Muhammed, it seems they don't. They don't seem to like other Nordic countries either. I gotta be careful.

The problem that I have with the reaction is how they dragged the US into it. We're to blame for everything you know...

The thing is that the whole problem would have been forgotten if it hadn't been for some high-ranking Danish Muslim clerics adding three more even "worse" drawings of their own (including one of Muhammed as a pig) and distributing them in various Muslim countries along with some blatent lies such as that Jyllandsposten (the paper that originally published the cartoons) was a state run newspaper (it's not) and that the Danish government was going to publish a new version of the Quran with Allah's name deleted (they're not).

If we could get the Muslims to listen to what really happened, maybe they would still protest but not as violently. Getting them to listen to reasin is something that is not likely to happen though.

Nope; my granpa was Muslim and while I never met him; I think he is gone to Allah, now, BTW; but I know he is the main reason my German granma split and came to the USA with my mom.

I think communication is the key to any type of relationship, whether it be between countries or more personal.
