Sounds like a good idea, but my two weeks vacation will be taken up going to someone's Basic training graduation!! And my mom is gonna get us plane free tickets!!! She has about a million frequent flyer miles!!!

You might want to get your own tickets, it will be either faster or less painful. LOL

lol!!! Did I do that??? If the tickets were up to me, I would have to pay for them!!! She literally has about 80,000 frequent flyer miles! If we drove, it would take 2 days, and I can't sit that long anymore!!

The first week I will go to her graduation in SC in May. The second week, I will go to her graduation from AIT,in September, I think, and will have to help her get to her base in Georgia. I don't like to drive long distances anymore,(makes my legs cramp up) but I'll do it for her!

Thats one advantage to the NAVY you have to carry everything in one bag, so it's easier to catch a plane.

Yeah, my dad did that for 7 years, then joined the Air Force! She'll have her stuff from her room to transport, like her stereo, tv, clothes (her favorite black and red stuff) and enough CD's and DVD's to fill the trunk!!!

Fun??? I thought what I was doing was fun!!!! lol!! Actually, I can't afford to go anywere, or take any real vacations. I play with my flowers in the yard! I enjoy that!

Your not answering my question the way I would like to hear, I am aware of how much of a recluse you are, the point was that you NEED to get out and do something for the fun of it, and to get away just for you once in a while. They lied when they said you would live "forever", He may return tomorrow, you never know.

Oh, I do know what you mean. It's just that I really can't afford any trips. my mom and i did go on that little jaunt last week. And when we go to SC, we will be seeing family members, so we will take advantage of that. My sister lives less than a days drive from there, and my niece still lives near the base. Plus, would you believe that I have some Internet friends that live near there that I am planning on meeting up with? That will be for me!!! And seeing my daughter graduate from Basic will be the biggest Me thing I can think of!! It means that I have done my job as a mother right!!! I can't ask for a better vacation!!

I guess as a man I will never be able to fully comprehend women/mothers, no matter how hard I try. You never cease to amaze me with what brings you joy. That is probably why we as men fail so often, we try ever so hard to bring joy into your lives, and are forever falling short, yet the gentil cooing of an infant can bring you joy for years to come.

I guess as a man I will never be able to fully comprehend women/mothers, no matter how hard I try. You never cease to amaze me with what brings you joy. That is probably why we as men fail so often, we try ever so hard to bring joy into your lives, and are forever falling short, yet the gentil cooing of an infant can bring you joy for years to come.

I noticed! Congrats!!! Yes, my children do bring me joy. They have been my reason to exist for almost 26 years! God gave them to me to raise, now I am giving them back to Him!

But, first!!! I am going to bed!!! Night!!!
