Oh where to begin....

Although I'm a much better person than I was just a few months ago, I'm still not the person that God wants me to be. The BIG difference I have noticed is that I want to be that person....and that's half the battle I think!

The first thing that comes to mind as far as God working in my life is my true enjoyment of reading the Bible now. When I was younger I remember thinking it was pure torture! I starting praying as I picked the Bible up that I would comprehend the message and learn to love His word. Now I truly do appreciate the true poetry of it and the utmost importance of every lesson being shown to me within those pages and through the Holy Spirit.

Hosea 4:6 - My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

This verse struck me hard when I first read it. I had rejected knowledge (not always on a conscious level) for most of my life! Now I'm a SPONGE and I want to absorb everything the Creator intended for me to know. That verse is talking to people like me...I'm just glad I listened.

Another difference is that I finally quit ignoring the "push" I've been feeling to start exercising daily again. I shouldn't be too proud of this new revelation since today was the first day I actually did it, but all I can say is that "something" woke me up this morning at 4 a.m. and got me on my rusty treadmill. I had more energy today, after walking for just 20 minutes, than I've had in the entire past year. I'm actually looking forward to doing it again tomorrow. It was nice "alone" time for me and as a mommy that's precious. :)

God is answering my prayers lately in a way that lets me know, with no room for doubt, that He does love me and is leading the decisions I make from now on. It's such a wonderful feeling!!!!!

What's wrong with me? Well, let's see....I'm computer illiterate for one. But Jesus just helped me finally get an Avatar to work, so I'm feeling very blessed tonight.

He's also told me that I AM going to survive from last week's Vacation Bible School, and that was a huge relief, because I was truly beginning to wonder. I have slept until 11 the last couple of days, and that's unusual for me.

I could write a book from last week alone. For instance.....after the first 30 minutes of attempting to act out a bible story and back it up with run-offs....we lined our children up to go to the restrooms to wash their hands. We have 3 restrooms downstairs at our church, so we split them up and with another volunteer had about 5 children per restroom. They had to wash their hands, because the next adventure was SNACK TIME, where we CONTINUED to stress the bible story of the evening.

As I was helping the first little girl wash her hands, the soap dispenser is a little high for them, so I squeezed it and they washed, I heard something behind me. Now, what was behind me was "the throne". I turned around and there was "little girl number two" pulling up her dress, and pulling DOWN her panties telling everyone who would listen that she had to "GO PEE!!". It wouldn't have been too much of a problem accept that three of the children I had with me were BOYS.

CHILDREN....with them you certainly NEVER have a dull moment.

Dude. We won't like, faint and be like "YO\/\/z3$ U r z|Ik3 B@D!!!!!1!!!!!11111!!!! or anything... these sorts of posts are more for yourself too... like... like reflection...

Me? Uhm... heheh.. don't want to clog this up too much aye xD I could ramble on a bit, give examples etc... because as my other posts show, I tend to do that, so I won't here.

I have a bad temper. Well, it IS getting better, which shows God is faithful to me! He IS helping me, even I realise that. I don't yell, nor have I physically hit my sister in weeks (yayness, though she does it to me >.O)

I can be cold towards people, without even realising it. I'm hoping that I can correct that, and be more understanding of others, and realise why they get upset when I resell their birthday present.... (heck, it was a video game. After you play it and complete it, what are you supposed to do, keep it?!)

Uhm, I'm right now not sure if playing video games which involve fantasy or magic are good. Or even if watching disney is good...=( I love that stuff, and if its sinful, then yeah...

I procrastinate WAY too much :sorry: 'specially with homework aye....

Heh, okay, not heh, but I don't always give my elders the respect they probably deserve.... >.O the way my grandma always buts into arguments, when it has nothing to do with her, and threatens to wash my mouth out with soap and water, well, back to the whole temper thing and yeah... >.O

I think I might have a slight ego. Not really, people say I do. I say stuff like "The world revolves around me" because I think people pick up on sarcasim... though maybe I do believe it?

On that note, I'm waaaaay too sarcastic

And quite cynical, though dunno if thats really a bad thing, its like.... its backup, so I don't get hurt, but I think it can cause me to be cold, and that isn't good.

God is faithful to me because... my life is awesome :) seriously. I'm happy, not depressed, I have hope. I have hope, not a lot of teenagers can say they have hope! I have inbuilt morals. All plastered in their by God. And, he made me an INTJ and that is just real awesome. God is faithful to me because he's made me happy yeah! And gave me the sabbath day, so, as I'm doing right now, I can remind myself..... ;)

Jonathan, be careful what you ask for! LOL A "vent" thread with females involved....oh boy!!!! Hehe, actually I think it's a great idea.

I have a horrible confession to make. When I was growing up I went to church every Sunday (oh yeah, way before I knew the truth about Sabbath) and one of the challenges we had in my Sunday school class was one about memorizing the books of the Bible and who could recite them the fastest. I'm happy to report that I won that competition three years in a row.

(I love that emoticon).

HOWEVER...later in life I turned my back on God and any religion and didn't read the Bible at all for at least 15 years.

Now that I have dedicated the rest of my life to God, I read the Bible every chance I get. But as someone that used to have all the books memorized, I find myself TODAY saying "Hosea? When did they put this book in here?"

How sad is that?

Now that I'm reading them all again, it's finally starting to spark my memory! LOL

LOL Trust!

Here's a funny story...when I was little my mom used to have me read the Bible and report to her what I read and what it meant. I was pretty good at reading comprehension but as we all know, the Bible was written using language we don't necessarily use today.

I read a lot of verses about men "renting their clothes" and I remember asking my mom "where did they rent their clothes from back then?"

Next thing I knew she was on the phone calling everybody to tell them what a funny thing I just said.

LOL

It's funny now.
