  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

the water elf saw the elf pull free then get knock back under and swam up and grabbed her, he swam a little furnther then stoped amzed, there was a small decline in the water level from the surface, it was so slight you had to be under water to notice. it slowly went down to ground level were it harddly was touched by rain, the elf swam back to the other and layed the elf on the hill, he had seen what he needed to and swam around the hill waiting for them to awake.

Carnadhiel rolled over and couched up a bunch of water, retching over and over. She slowly sat up, then closed her eyes and placed a smooth white hand to her throbbing head. The tree....she had gotten hit. She opened her pale green eyes and looked around. The water seemed to be going down, though it was hard to tell for sure.

"Where am I?" she moaned.

((Sorry it took my so long...camping...you guys this is turning out great))

Kami was now starting to understand what was going on. Even though she didnt talk, she could tell her body language showed more than she wanted it to. She was greatful for the help, but hated feeling weak(even though she was weak at that time and knew it.) She could feel herself regaining her strength, but feared where she was at. She wasn't afraid of hights; she was used to living in the highest of the trees. What she was frightend of was that she was high and not in control. "I think we should follow those two girls," Kami suggested loudly to be heard over the water, "We have a better chance of living in numbers, and they seemed confident in what they were doing." She looked down at the water, and her fear thundered back. Her worst fear was drowning, and she had came close to fulfilling it. She closed her eyes, and waited patiently for an answer or an action from the young elf.

Ruyka sleepily opened her eyes when she heard voices speaking. She turned her head and saw that the water elf had returned, and had brought two more onto the hill as well.

"Well, you certainly have been busy," she said, smiling as shesat up and looked at the water elf, "Who have assisted this time? New allies in these suddenly uncertain times, I hope?"

Ruyka looked around her. Beside the two newcomers, she was the only one on the hill who was awake. She debated waking the others yet or not. It didn't seem like it had been that long since she had even fallen alseep.

"Well, I'm Ruyka Maalesh," Ruyka said, "It's always nice to make new friends."
She paused for a moment, looking around again at the others. Then she turned back to this new elf and asked, "Wait, you're a woodland elf? I'm a forest elf, from what I know. Is that the same thing, or at all close?" she tilted her head in curiosity.

Ruyka smiled at having a new elf allie so much like her. She hadn't had that feeling in so long; it was good.

"Hello, good friend," she greeted Ali as she strectched and woke up, "See what our watery friend has found! New friends and allies to help us solve this mystery!"

Ruyka looked over at Gadi and introduced herself in reply, "Nice to meet you, Gadi! I'm Ruyka. Honestly I don't think any of us know what entirely is going on here." she looked to the others to see if they could offer a better answer.

((Quick question... does it just continuously rain at varying degrees, or does it rain off and on during the day? I only ask because it seems like it's stopped raining in the story by the way we're all acting. Just wondering how that whole deal works, dani! ))

((I'm gonna join, hope that's okay? :) http://www.christianforums.com/showthread.php?p=9221259#post9221259 There's my characters bio.))

Aleda frantically searched the ground as she flew, her gaze cast towards the ground. She had been gone for nearly three weeks and had just now found out about the flood. Tears filled her eyes as she looked around for her husband.
"Jovan!" she yelled desperately, flying very low to the water.
Suddenly, she spotted him. He was about one-hundred yards away, but her keen eyes and senses told her it was him. His body was floating with the waters curent. She flew swiftly over to him and lifted his limp body from the water. She spotted the roof of a large house and landed there, laying Jovan on his back.

"Jovan?" she asked.
His eyes were closed and he layed very still. Tears streamed down Aleda's face.
"Please, Jovan, wake up!"
He didn't respond. Finally, Aleda checked for a pulse and found none. She let out a cry of regret and remorse for herself.
"No!" she screamed, taking Jovan's limp hand in her own and pressing it against her cheek. Then, she leaned over and pressed her lips against his. Then she whispered, "I love you." as the tears continued to fall.
