Rain and Jesus

It is raining today. Rain soothes me. I was thinking a lot today about Jesus. I was thinking about how much I need him. I am a very broken person. I see I may not be able to do the things I wanted to do in life because the ritual abuse did leave me with mental injuries. I could see today that my kidnapper did not care about me at all. She stalked me for two years and then abused me for many months. I am a different person than I was. Jesus let me know that in addition to ritual abuse, what I experienced was torture. Jesus let me see it was okay that I am not the same person because of what I endured. I am praying to Jesus for him to comfort me and heal me.

I also love the rain and find is refreshing. It is a symbol of growth and renewal, I think. It brings much substance and life to the Earth and spreads the cycle of continued growth and rebirth. It is soothing and cooling and washes away. I like this analogy you have started with rain and healing, which can apply to personal growth as well. God bless you, sister.
