I don't have a problem with cockroaches, (knock on wood), but in this area (Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota), Box Elder Bugs (Stink Bugs) and Japanese Beetle/Lady Bugs are just awful. I thought they'd have died off by now and they do seem to be better under control but they are driving me buggy!!

Normally, I'd have sprayed or bombed by now, but we bought a cute Teddy Bear Hamster last January and I'm concerned about killing him off in the process. (Three or Four years ago I used some flea powder on the carpet-- in a very small area-- vacuuming it up instantly and ended up killing off three of our finches. (It wasn't much powder either). The cat was fine, though.

I'm afraid of doing the hamster in like I did the finches. I have a friend who might take in the hamster for a day or two if we bomb the place. I'm not sure what we'd do with the cat. I might be able to get a friend to take her for a few hours. (I have no car to go driving around in). But, then again, the box elders shouldn't be around much longer and neither should the Japanese Lady Bugs. (Seasonal). I have to wonder if it's worth the gamble.

If I do spray, can the animals stay in the house? If I bomb, how long would the hamster and cat have to be gone?

wow, I can't believe you posted this. My sister only confessed to me a couple of years ago that she killed my hamster, when she was raiding the basement for ants. My hamster was in a different room, but he still died. For sure, don't keep the animals in the house, and I'm not too sure how long they should be gone, but maybe there is a number on the package you can call. But I have to tell you, that's what happened to me

I found that Combat Superbait (in the gold box) works exceptionally well. I had a really bad roach problem at one apartment complex I lived in, and I put these out. Within a month they were GONE! And when I moved, they didn't go with me! :D
