Hey, if you like Radiohead, sound off!

If you don't like Radiohead you are not as intellectually refined as me!

If you don't know Radiohead, go listen to these albums:

The Bends
OK Computer
Kid A
Hail to the Thief

and look for these songs:

Vegetable (from Pablo Honey)
Just (from The Bends)
My Iron Lung (from The Bends)
The Bends (guess which album?)
Paranoid Android (from OK Computer)
Karma Police (from OK Computer)
Lucky (from OK Computer)
Everything in its Right Place (from Kid A)
The National Anthem (from Kid A)
How to Disappear Completely (from Kid A)
Morning Bell (from Kid A; there is also an excellent remix on Amnesiac)
Pyramid Song (from Amnesiac)
Life in a Glass House (from Amnesiac)
Like Spinning Plates (look for the live version which appears on I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings)
True Love Waits (from I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings)
Punchdrunk Lovesick Singalong (from My Iron Lung EP)
2+2=5 (from Hail to the Thief)
A Wolf at the Door (from Hail to the Thief)

...that's a long list, isn't it? I'm looking over it trying to figure out what to take out of the songs list, but there's nothing I would leave out. At least I'm not in charge of a best of album or anything.

OK first off, my favorite album is OK Computer by a long shot, but others have better individual songs (here I am referring to The Bends). I'll give my favorite Radiohead songs, grouped by album, not ranked though....

From Pablo Honey....Creep and Anyone Can Play Guitar

From The Bends.....High and Dry, Fake Plastic Trees, Just, Black Star, Street Spirit (overall #1)

From OK Computer........hmmm can I pick them all? It's just such a wonderful album. I'm picking every single song on the album, except Fitter Happier (not really a song, still interesting though). Favorite OKC song--Let Down

Kid A- Everything in its Right Place, How to Disappear Completely, Optimistic, Idioteque

Amnesiac- You and Whose Army?, Knives Out, Like Spinning Plates, Life in a Glass House

Hail to the Thief- 2+2=5, Sail to the Moon, I Will, A Wolf at the Door

My Iron Lung EP- The Trickster, Punchdrunk Lovesick Singalong

Airbag EP- Polyethylene Pts. 1&2, Palo Alto

Unreleased- True Love Waits, Follow Me Around

I love these guys. One of my favorite modern bands. There wasn't a better record in the 90s than OK Computer. Fantastic stuff. I would love to be a producer working with this band. There must be so much to do but I bet it's gotta be a great time. The ultimate 90s band for sure, and probably going to remain huge for most of this decade as well. To go from OK Computer to Kid A is one of the most amazing musical turnarounds ever and they did it flawlessly. I couldn't say enough about the greatness of this band. Amazing.

Hey guys, check out this link...

http://www.ateasetribute.tk/

It's a bunch of amateurs that released an album full of covers of Radiohead songs. Some of them butcher the songs, but some actually do a fair job. Check them out, kinda interesting...........

yeah, i'm definitely a radiohead fan. I will be unoriginal and say that my favorite album of theirs is OK Computer, but that's only b/c it is. Hmmm, that reminds me, I ordered the hail to the thief album from insound, and still haven't gotten it. I should check into that. I still haven't really heard the album yet.....

I really have not heard much of Radiohead's stuff. But everyone seems to be talking about them, and they're not going away, so I am going to download some songs that you guys listed above.

I have on my computer an awesome Radiohead video. I do not know what song it is called but it is with a guy walking in a tunnel, and he keeps getting hit by cars..then at the climax of the song he stands up tall and a car hits him and the car gets wrecked. The visual aspect here was so awesome that I really didn't pay much attention to the song, but from what I have heard these songs are worth listening to.

OK Computer is my favorite too. It's just such a sprawling masterpiece. Flawless really. And I prefer guitar Radiohead over electronic Radiohead, although I do love all their stuff. Hail to the Thief was great, as always, kind of a combo of the best stuff of OKC and Kid A.

I have OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, and Hail to the Thief in my AIM get file if you want to grab any of them. AIM name is WhatForFrancisco. Feel free to take them (and anything else you might see that you like) if you want.

I'm a big fan. Having said that, I bought 'Hail to the Thief' when it was released and have only listened to it twice.

Favorite tracks are :-
Everything in its right place
Lurgee
High and Dry
National anthem
Sulk
Knives out
Lucky
You and whose army
I might be wrong
Like spinning plates

I was SO lucky to have seen these guys live, they blew us away. OK Computer was a masterpiece but they'll never surpass it - its downhill from there.
