  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

What is the most radical characteristic of your life as a Christian?

I suppose that most would say that the most radical characteristic of my life as a Christian is that I see the Lord as Lord and the Scriptures were made for me and not me for the Scriptures . They are a tool - one of many - that the Lord *may* use in communicating with us . It has no authority - only the Lord has authority .

What, to you, does it mean to live radically?

To me , it means to be different in a very obvious way .

Are we called to live that way?

I don't know about you or anyone esle . I am not called to live radically . It just so happens that how I am called is radical .

I start with this question (still pondering the others): believers are individuals and I believe that God deals with each believer individually. In other words, I don't believe that all are called to live that way or any specific way for that matter nor do I believe that none is called to live in a certain way.

But you are posting great questions :) ... might take me some time to reflect on them
