Racist Book?

I found a book today at the Bibles For Missions store. It is called, "The Plot Against Christianity" by Elizabeth Dilling. I wasn't to sure of what the book entailed, rather it was for or against Christianity, or for or against Communism or if it was for or against the Jewish people. I purchased it and I had brought it to the library to ask my friend about it. He is really good in finding out information for me with regards to a book, belief or the author.

He told me that the author was a racist and very anti-semitic. I asked against who? He stated against the Jews. In my heart and thoughts my mouth and eyes went like this :o.

This lady had put this book together with her own commentary as well as newspapers clippings with regards to the Jewish people and Israel. She had things underlined in these newspaper clippings that were pertaining to the Jewish people and Israel. Her thoughts are the Jews and Israel are to blame for the problems in the earth and that they should be exterminated.

This book is a good example and a way to learn how anti-Semitism works and the mindset of anti-Semites.

But there is a good side to this. That some of the things that this author shares, rather she is against the Jews or not, is that she shares what the Jewish people believe and why the Jews have issues with us Gentiles and so forth. So I guess when reading it you will learn how anti-Semitism works and what the Jewish people believe about those around them.

But then again I am looking for more input. Below is a link for reviews on the book.

Thank you Contra. I purchased the book because I wanted to know how the minds of anti-Semites work and what their beliefs were. She is definitely a good example. Her soul purpose was to stop Communism which she believes was started by the Jews of her day.

Better to try Rev'd Stephen Sizer's book - Christian Zionism - Road-map to Armageddon IVP, London. (2004).

You'll still puke at what is written, but at least it is a sort of academic attempt at the subject and it gives an insight in to his twisted thinking. The good part of the book is the first third, or so, where he does a good job at outlining the historical background to Christian Zionism.

Sizer is, arguably, the UK's worst anti-semite in the clerical realm. Moves have been made to have him dismissed as an Anglican Minister by Christians, Messianics and Jews.

I wrote a thesis against his prime argument in this book - I'm grateful to him for providing the arguments that gained me a Pass with Merit in opposing them!

Communists are opposed, theoretically, to all religions. In China, Communism is associated with anti-Buddhist and anti-Taoist sentiments. To think of Communism as a specifically Jewish anti-Christian plot is silly beyond belief, especially considering Judaism was oppressed and learning Hebrew language was banned by the Soviets.

Although a few (non-believing) Jews were associated with the forming of the theories of Communism, the political Communist leaders were bascially all gentile and opposed to Judaism and Jewishness. It seems anti-Semites try to conflate [1] the culture of secular Jews (which is generally the same as secular Western culture) or more particularly what they perceive as the more negative aspects of said culture, with [2] the religion of Judaism.

Francis Parker Yockey's "Imperium" is an interesting example of this, and another short book called "Vindex". The latter especially argues that Communism is the natural progression of Judaism. On the other side of the spectrum, Oswald Spengler argues that Communism is the natural progression (or in his terminology, the Decline) of Western culture.

Thank you for sharing Hoshiyya. That is interesting, however I didn't think that any Jews would have even thought of starting communism. I believe that Communism was started by the Western and European countries. But to blame a whole group of people and culture for it? This is not right. This is just my thought on the issue.

Obviously not all Germans and Russians can be blamed for the creation of Communism (it was initially formulated and formed by a few Germans and Russians, ie. Marx, Engels, Lenin) but I think it is valid to say it could only be created in the Western (in this context European and Russian) culture and hence a part/progression(/or decline) thereof, much as Hinduism could only have been created in India.
