Racing gamecube reccomendations?

I want to get racing games. I don't want tightly, scantily clad women, or to have to kill people, in the game. I prefer off roading or fantasy backdrops, but what can I get? It can be car, dirt bike, four wheelers, or whatever that I race. What ones do you like?

from what i heard auto medollista was good and there is burnout 1 and 2. NFSU is for gamecube however you might want to wait and buy NFSU2 since it will have more options. there is also Street Racing Syndicate, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2, the Nascar series etc.

I have been sort of enjoying Road Trip, which is miniature-car themed. But it's sorta fun. There is, of course, always F-Zero.

sorry i didnt read all of your post. if you want just good straight racing you should go to gamestop.com or any of the video game websites like ign or gamespot or gamestop. if you look for games under your console it show you all the different racing games for your system.

as far as the racing games that i like, i like the street racing games like Need For Speed Underground and Street Racing Syndicate but i also was into Ridge Racer 5, which is more like having a pit chief and racing on a track with different or same class cars. why NFSU and Street Racing Syndicate? well i like to fix up cars inside and out and both of those games give you the options to not only modify your engine but also the exterior body of the car and its cosmetics. like street racing syndicate even gets into the nitty gritty stuff. stuff like if you add something to your it could make it more powerful or slower. for instance i did a stage 3 weight reduction on my 1999 Nissan Skyline M-Spec but found out that it actually added weight and it lost about .2 seconds for acceleration. not to mention that it knocked my top speed down from 223mph to 216mph. you might think 5mph thats not much whats the big deal. well in this game having a fast car is good but having a fast, powerful, and quick accelerating car is better and almost every aspect is affected by the mods that you put on it. the best part of Street Racing Syndicate is that it allows you to dyno your car. there are girls in it so it might not be the one you are looking for but there are so many features to this game that i totally forgot about them lol.

F-Zero does portray some of the racers as ruthless mercenaries not above winning by any means necessary. Not to mention a few of the story missings involve destroying the other cars. Also, F-Zero is one of the hardest racing games ever.

Thanks for the tips. What about ATV quad power racing, hot wheels, monster 4x4 masters of metal, micromachines, drome racer, and shox? Do these have killing people or tight little outfits on the women? Thanks.

ATV is quite a good game, i played it not too long ago. quite fun. not sure about what is in it as it was at a shop, but it seems like its just racing.

I can't believe I didn't see Mario Cart DD on there! Maybe I missed it. I like it for its battle but it is mainly a racing game and it fits all your requirements.

dont know if they are going to have for gamecube but when it comes out you should find out if Gran Turismo 4 will available for your game console. thats a good game.

There's an old game called NASCAR: Dirt to Daytona where you start out driving beat up dirt track cars, graduate to open wheel modified, then race the Craftsman Truck series, and then move on to NASCAR's to division. I've never played it, but I've heard it recommended highly.

Also, there was a game on Dreamcast called Test Drive: LeMans that was flat out awesome. The hands-down best console racing game I've ever played. If they did make a GameCube version, I'd have to recommend it also.
