I was looking at the course work available at the Jewish Theological Seminary. I am very much impressed with the effort and study that it takes to become a Rabbi.

Is there anyone here who is studying to become a Rabbi?
Would you be willing to share your experience?

I dunno bout Rabinical college but I can tell you that Bible college is no
walk in the park! You would be amazed at how much you can cram into your brain!

Toughest course was overview of the Old Testement.
Easiest Biblical Hermanutics
Course I thought would be easiest but wasn't Homiletics

But then none of that answers your question does it?

Bible College, while tough in its own respect, is fairly easy compared to Yeshivah.

The Graduate School offers programs leading to the degrees of MA, MPhil, DHL and PhD in Judaic studies. It is the largest academic program of advanced Judaica in North America.
All programs are open to qualified students irrespective of age, sex, race, religion, sexual orientation or national origin.

Applicants to the master's programs must possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and present evidence of the ability to pursue studies on the graduate level. Applicants to doctoral programs in most disciplines may be required to have earned a master's degree in a related discipline.

There are few Yeshivas that are popping up dedicated to Messianism however as of yet none are as rigid as the Rabbinical schools.

Well, its hard work- VERY HARD. and dedication?
wow- they'll make you pull it out of a "Laz-E boy" chair...its really hard work and fun, but extremely hard.
