Can you see the wisdom, godly, fruitful ministry her words have. Compared to the world's wisdom, we see love, gentle correction, not prideful attack. This kind of wisdom had Solomon in Proverbs. The Pharisees have many quotes we could contrast with these of Joyce...

they said things like 'I thank God I am not as....' but Joyce answers that kind of idea with 'you cannot live your life just based on what everyone else thinks.'

Her God given wisdom has an answer for those kind of personal attacks.

I really like that one, it's very biblical to be instructed to care not what the world thinks and care only what GOD thinks. Many Christians have the view that if the majority of people say or think something then that's the way it is. Nope. That's not what God says though. It was the majority who gave a negative report when about to cross into the promised land and as a result of being wrong they missed it. Worldly thinking says "majority is right". GOD'S way of thinking says "God is right".
Dare to follow what God says and not what man says.

You can't be strong and pitiful at the same time. We need to believe what G_d says about us as believers in Him.
