Quick question?

Hey guys, I believe in God a lot. I dearly love him, and I love my mom too. I am a really smart kid and I take 6 AP classes so you know I am busy really often. As a sophomore in a very challenging high school I get very stressed out. So, what I like to do is watch gaming videos and/or play them. However, lately my mom has not been letting me play games. I typically only play two games, which are agar.io and clash royale on my mobile device. I also watch Youtube videos like shooting games, such as Overwatch, and videos over the games I play (agar.io & clash royale). When my mom won't let me play I will get sort of mad, because I literally don't play at all during school days and I just want to play on the weekends to relieve some stress. Additionally she won't let me play because she thinks that the games are satanic and that I am bringing demons in the house. But I insist that I am very faithful and won't allow the devil to reach my heart or change my views of God almighty. Finally I also believe that playing for about 2-3 hours during the weekend won't hurt. So here is my point, do you guys agree with me or my mother? Please explain thoroughly and try to include as many biblical verses as possible. I am not an ignorant person, so I am open to all of your ideas. Thank you and God bless you.

I personally play games, everyone I know plays games, and are religious.
The games you listed aren't really 'satanic', and nothing in the bible says anything about games, or that we shouldn't enjoy ourselves.
But I'd try to stay away from games like payday,gta, crime games, anything that promotes a message of violence, or where you have no choice but to be the bad guy.

I agree with you totally. I think your mom is being irrational to call the video games satanical. That makes it trickier though bc if she had a rational reason for it then it would be a lot easier to work something out. Idk what you could try. Maybe ask if she'd be happy if you played them for less time on the weekend? Or does she just never want you to play them again? 6 APs. Wow! That's intense. You need to be able to relax. If she won't budge then I hope you can find something else to destress that she won't give you stress over.
