I have a quick question for Those who believe in Creationism.
Do you consider your beliefs compatable with Theistic Evolution, and do you consider TEs to be a part of the creationist camp?

If you are a TE, I have posted a similar question in Theistic Evolution.

Please observe the no debate rule if you are not into creationism.
Thanks
Dids

No, to the first part of your question. Theistic evolution and YEC are completely incompatible. Theistic evolution is secular evolution with God stuck in the backround invisiblly. YEC is a divine, supernatural creation event that took place in a week and from then forth had ceased through divine interaction.

Would I consider TEers to be a part of the creationist camp? I would say at least they are close to the line. Most TEers:
1) do not acknowledge the authority and infallibility of Scripture
2) cowtow to the liberal "higher criticism" nonsense (see The Hoax of Higher Criticism, Dr. Gary North, http://www.freebooks.com/docs/21c2_47e.htm) and
3) place natural man's science above supernatural God's Word.

Even if a few specific TEers don't believe this, it is a consistant and logical part of their position (usually they redefine terms such as infallibility to suit their purposes).
