I think Generous Giving has a good response to this

I don't see why it would even matter as long as the women is preaching Gods ministry...

For both groups, it is an issue of obedience.

For one, it is obedience to a calling of the Holy Spirit and biblical passages where we have examples of women leading and teaching.

For the other, it is obedience to other biblical passages where Paul addresses specific churches and sets clear limits on the role of women.

In our efforts to find a simple all-encompassing law or rule to describe how God desires to see the role of men and women so that we can obey it, we have often lost sight of greater things.

What is a pentecostal Christian??? And with other religions bible's, if anyone knows, what does it speak of?? Does it speak the truth like our christian bible or does it speak of things that people want to hear??? Like the muslims bible....

Pentecostal (1901) - Charles Fox Parham. William Seymour. Asuza Street Revival. Product of the Pentecostal Movement, influenced by the Holiness movment. Speaking in tongues.

If you are interested in studying the various Christian groups out there, I have post #15 in this thread about Denominations that is a good starting point.

Other religions do not call their holy books bibles (except the JWs) but here are some examples of them.

Islam - Qur'an (or Koran)
Judaism - Torah
Buddhism - Tripitaka
Hinduism - Shruti
Taoism - Tao Te Ching
Confucianism - Four Classics
Sihkism - Guru Granth Sahib
Jainism - Tattvartha Sutra
Shinto - none
Zoroastrianism - Avesta
Mormon (or LDS) - The Book of Mormon
Jehovah's Witnesses - New World Translation (of the Bible)
Church of Scientology - Dianetics

What do they speak of? Each is different but usually about how to live within that religion.
Do they speak the truth? There may be some truths contained in them.
Do they speak what people want to hear? Not necessarily.

Of course as a Christian, I believe that all these except for the Torah miss the ultimate truth of God found in our bible.

I don't have a question for this guy to answer, maybe someone else has an answer for him...

I have another question as well??!! People have searched for the Holy Grail, Noah's Arc, The Spear that punctured Jesus, the arc of the covenant... But has anyone searched for the Garden of Eden, or is God keeping it hidden??? And are they're any videos or anything that show that these people are looking for it, like national geographics, or the Discovery Channel, etc....???

The gardem of Eden was in Iraq, south of Bagbad. Pretty close to where the city of Babylon was located I think, right off the top of my head.

Yes I seen one on the Ark Of The Covenant a few weeks ago. I think it was on the History channel.

The city of Babylon will be built back at or near the original site.

The reason you don't have a answer for me is the Bible don't say when we will judge Angels. Most people believe it is at the Great White Throne Judgment not during the Mellimen.

There is no shourt cut to knowledge of God. I suggest you read the Bible through about 3 times before you start studying it.

That is not the best way to read the bible. It wasn't designed to read it front to back, it was designed as a reference to the Holy Spirit.

Haven't you ever been inspired to read a certain scripture or chapter, or feel inspired to just... pick it up and open it to a random page?

*JAW DROPS* You see? There is ALWAYS something to learn... where did you learn this, and I'll tell you why I'm so surprised, and yet not surprised at all.

I can't find it right this minute, but somewhere it says that NO man hath seen, nor heard, nor felt in his heart the kingdom of the Lord, or something similar to that.

That would suggest that NOTHING of this world, is going to matter when we transition because God has such WONDEROUS things planned for us. Nothing here will matter to you.

However, it is not entirely impossible.

Jesus said you can't see it unless you are born again. The Holy Spirit gives us glimpses of it. Just glimpses not the whole picture.
