HI!! Everyone, I am very interested in the SA and have a few questions.
1. What are your end-times views?
2. Are personal religious practices like crossing oneself or praying for the intercession of saints allowed even if it isnt the mainstream?
3. Do you all believe in the "Sinner's Prayer?"

Okily dokily...

1. Most Salvationists I know are too busy working for Jesus now to worry too much about end times. Views vary as to the events and timings of the end times. I know some who think we are definitely in the end times, others who think we aren't and others who don't care either way.

2. Salvationists are free to practice their faith privately in what ever way they wish - but you wont find this practices in ordinary sunday worship. We are protestant though, so you probably won't find many salvationists praying for the intercession of saints. We would go straight to Jesus.

3. I think we would think the sinners prayer is fine and dandy, but only the beginning of a life long journey with our Lord and Saviour. We all need to seek forgiveness for our sin, pretty much all of the time, thank God for grace! Thank God for the sacrifice of His son, which means we can be reconciled to Him, and He to us.

Ummmm are you like reading my message for this morning or something? It's partly about how becoming a Christian is pretty straightforward and easy, but living the life of a Chrsitian requires a heckuva lot more than just repenting for sins.
