QUESTIONS ABOUT THE NEPHILIM....
" ...the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were fair; and they took to wife such as them as they chose."...." The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of god came in to the daughters, and children were born unto them. These were the mighty men that were of old, the men reknown." Genesis 6: 2, 4
I am very curious about this passage and how people view the understanding of this passage in modern day terms...I had a bible study question about the wonder of this passage and was told these angels actually did exist and later they became the myths of the greek and roman gods and goddesses...I would like to hear all information that can be gathered on the Nephilim...I know being so much closer to the origins of the Garden of Eden---"Closer to the Age of Perfection"...people lived closer to perfection with their birth origins at the beginning of time and had longer life times...or possibly aged more slowly (?)
" And the angels that did not keep their own position but left their proper dwelling have been kept by him in eternal chains in the nether gloom until the judgement of the great day." Jude 1: 6
I believe this passage in Jude also refers to the Nephilim.
Somehow I am also wondering if and how these angels could have existed from a scientific explanation...considering all the technology we have in our space and medical and military sciences...will we one day have the science that could exemplify the capabilites of the Nephilim?
" For Christ also died for sins once for all, the righteous and the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit; in which he went and preached to spirits in prison, who formerly did not obey, when God's patience waited in the days of Noah...." I Peter 3: 18-20
" For this is why the gospel was preached even to the dead, that though judged in the flesh like men, they might live in the spirit like God." I peter 4: 6
Will someday, some of these Nephilim be allowed by God to be freed from their chains...(?) and be allowed to continue using their abilites to the Glory of God, through grace and salvation of Christ Jesus ?
