I'm not at all surprised that you reject it. It is after all, the Way of Love.I reject your "religion of the heart", it's in the heart where Satan whispers evil, and we seek refuge in Allah.
The Qur'an says for you is your religion, and for me is my religion, but Baha'is don't apply it on us. Then it's a matter of defense. because they quote verses and deliberately try to distort/corrupt them. While in fact the verses reject what they say.
Just look how it is applied by Muhammad (in some instances):
Sura 2:62
Indeed, those who believed and those who were Jews or Christians or Sabeans - those who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve.
I said Qur'an because there are so many verses which condemn those who insist there aren't going to be any more prophets. To take a single verse and use it to negate the rest of the Qur'an just doesn't make sense to me.
Those who believe and do righteous deeds have their reward, but they must not exceed on their religion:
"You're going to Hell!"
"No, you're going to Hell!"
"Well, my book says you're going to Hell!"
"My book says you're going to Hell!"
Rinse, repeat, until end of time.
