Questions about souls and conception

I'm really not upset. I like you too. I am a bit more honest than I should be over the computer. But I'm the same face to face in daily life. It just does not come off as well in text without the benefits of vocal inflections, etc. I was just confused. I did not know if you were looking for direct answers or just a philosophical discussion. So I asked. I apologize as well. I do not want to make you feel bad. I often think of myself and feeling misunderstood by the way I post on the board and often forget that everyone has the same problem as I do by communicating their intent when they post. So please do not worry about it. I just did not know what you were wanting from the discussion.

I asked questions and asked for peoples ideas. I did not ever question that God gives us our souls at conception, so I was confused when I received more than one post that informed me of this. Some I just didn't reply to, and some I was like, Okay, yeah of course, but what about my questions?

So we did have that misunderstanding, but I thought that was cleared up. I don't know why you are still upset. I honestly don't.

I like you Michie. I look forward to reading your news articles every day with my cup of tea! You make this forum what it is in a big way. I don't want problems with you. For whatever part I've played in irritating you, I apologize. I hasn't been my intent, but sometimes we do things without knowing it, and I know I'm not perfect. Sorry.

Depending on your point of view the 'purpose' of a soul may be different.
