So when Hosea sells it all to buy back his worthless harlot bride who's rejected him, that's allowing her to choose? When God sends his suffering servant to liberate the captives, free the slaves and restore sight to the blind, that allows them to choose? Can the clay say 'nyetski' to the potter? Can the V8 refuse to be souped up? Das ist nicht!
No she had no choice, He did, but he choose to Obey God.
Jesus wasn't God's suffering servant. He was His Son. Jesus choose to Obey His father's will.
Clay can't speak, so no it can't say 'nevermind' to the potter.
Again, V8 is a mix of veggies, they also can't determine where they are going to be.

This is more the case of someone running towards a cliff. 'You do know there's a cliff?', you inquire. 'Why, I refuse to believe', they respond as they gallop gaily gravewards. What does love do there? YOU JUMP UP AND TACKLE THE IDIOT TO THE GROUND!
And that my friend is exactly what I am doing. I follow the scriptures and love this saying from Charles Spurgeon.
“If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to
Hell over our dead bodies. And if they perish, let them perish with our arms wrapped about their knees, imploring them to stay. If
Hell must be filled, let it be filled in the teeth of our exertions, and let not one go unwarned and unprayed for.” Charles Spurgeon

Nope, He loves us with a passion and commitment beyond our imagining. Jealous protective fatherly husbandly, friendship love. Unbreakable. Consider the extremes to which He goes to get that message across.
I do consider that. That's why I also will go to extremes to spread the Gospel. Because He did.

Man, ya gotta get it. This is true love. It's so dynamic and powerful it will move heaven and earth to save us. Passionate, tender, devoted, consistent, all-consuming, self-sacrificial, ever-forgiving etc. He is the source of all these awesome gifts. That's the FIRE of His love, from the core of His being. Heart and soul.
His true love, was the Death and resurrection. Yes.
His Greatest Love, that you and I may be saved. That unmerited salvation. He gives us something we don't deserve.
If we all got what we deserved, it would be Hell. Because we aren't good enough, nor perfect enough, nor righteous enough. His love is so great that He'd never force us to serve Him. It's also so great He continues to give us chance after chance to believe in Him, Repent of our sins, and place our trust in Him.
